Printing from non-College Windows Computer

This article is for those users who do not have a College windows computer, but need to print to the College printers. eg. Contractor staff.

Connect to the College Network

1. Connect to the SCC Campus wireless network. To do this, you will need to authenticate to the wireless using your College username and password.
2. If you are asked to accept a wireless certificate, please say Yes, or OK.

Connect to the Follow-me-queue

1. After you have connected to SCC Campus, please open a windows explorer window, and enter the following in the address bar and hit Enter.

\\printserver.stcuthberts.local\Follow-me-anywhere

2. You will be prompted to enter your College username and password. Please enter your username in the following format:

STCUTHBERTS\username

Once you have done this, the Follow-me-anywhere queue will be installed on your computer. You can print to this printer, and release your printing from any Photocopier in the College.  NOTE that you must be connected to the SCC Campus network to use this printer.
