The College uses Microsoft's management platform to provide apps to students for their curriculum. To use these apps, students must enrol their iPad into Intune.
You do not need an Apple ID to follow these steps, an Apple ID is not required for school.
This set of instructions is for students who have purchased their own iPad from a retail store or from Apple directly
1. Click on the following link or type it into your Safari browser:
https://portal.manage.microsoft.com/enrollment/webenrollment/ios
2. Sign in with your College e-mail and password
3. Once you have signed in, click Get started
4. It will automatically download the configuration profile, click Allow
5. On your home screen, open Settings
6. In Settings tap General, then VPN & Device Management
7. Tap Management Profile
8. Tap Install and and enter your passcode if required
9. Tap Install again
10. Tap Install to install the profile
11. Tap Trust
12. Once the Profile has installed, tap Done
13. At this point the device is now enrolled into Intune MDM, and it will start to check any compliance and security policies
The College does not apply any compliance and security policies to student devices
14. You should now see the "Enrolment" app appear on your iPad
15. Open the Enrolment app and select iPad from the list
16. You can now click on All apps and select any apps you need to install
