The following includes sections for maintaining students and teachers in non-Academic classes:

For the purpose of the following instructions, the term 'class' is used to refer to a group of students whether they are a Class, Committee, Group, Team etc.,
If the class is to have a page in myCollege, email a request to mycollege@stcuthberts.school.nz
To view a Class List:
- With Synergetic open, Go to Students > Class Maintenance
- The Set Class Search Criteria window will open.
- Select the File Type for the class
Click here to view the different File Types and their categories, to find what File Type your activity comes under, if your category doesn't exist, email pam.hutton@stcuthberts.school.nz - Delete your Staff Code
Click once in the Staff Code field and select the delete key on your keyboard - Click OK
- Select the File Type for the class
- The Class Selector window appears to the left the Class Maintenance window to the right. Scroll down the Class Selector window until you find your co curricular class, click once on it, then in the Class Maintenance window on the right, click the Students tab
To Add a Student
The following demonstrates the adding of students, one by one. Multiple students can be added from a Tag List - see below.
With the Class Maintenance Window open
- On the Students tab, click Add Students...
- Click Find...
- The Student Search window will open. Enter a few details such as the Student ID, Surname or Preferred Name then click Refresh Grid. If multiple results appear, select the student to be added and click OK
- Click Add Classes
- Click Yes then OK
To add students from a Tag List
Multiple students can be added from a Tag List (ensure that the Tag List has already been created before continuing with the following).

With the Class Maintenance Window open
- On the Students tab, click Add Students...
- Check the Tagged IDs option then click
- Click Yes then OK
- The students have been added to the Class and the Bulk Add of Students to Classes window will remain open, click Cancel to close the window.
To Remove a Student
Note: when a student is finished in a class do not delete but rather, make them inactive by setting a Stop Date.
Only ever delete a student if (for example) they were accidentally added and have never been involved in the class
With the Class Maintenance Window open
- On the Students tab, select the student to be removed then Modify...
- Select a Stop Date, then click OK
- To view students who are no longer active, remove the check in the Active Students Only option
To Add a Teacher
With the Class Maintenance Window open
- On the Staff tab, click Add
- The Staff Search window will open. Enter a few details such as the Staff Code, Surname or Preferred Name then click Refresh Grid. If multiple results appear, select the student to be added and click OK
