We have a network drive available to all staff, as well as one available to all students and staff. These instructions will help you to have access to them:
Mac Users
- If there is not a shortcut on your desktop, launch Self Service
- On the front page of self service is an item called Add Staff Shared
- Click Add, which will run a quick little process, then prompt you to input your normal school username and password.
- Once you have correctly entered your details, the window should open, and you can use it like you would for any other folder on your computer.
- The same process applies to Student Shared, but you should use the Student Shared item in self service instead
- For the sake of all staff members, please try to save your items in logical locations on the shared drive!
Windows Users
- Open Windows Explorer (as if you were going to your documents folder)
- In the left pane of the window, find Computer
- Expand the sub-menu by using the small arrow to the left of the icon
- In the sub-menu, you should be able to see STAFF SHARED, PUPIL SHARED and any other network drives that you have been given permission to access. Use these folders just like you would with any other folders on your computer, but remember that they are accessible to a lot of people.
- For the sake of all staff members, please try to save your items in logical locations on the shared drive!
