Try to follow these steps if possible
- Wipe and remove as much excess liquid as possible
- If the device is still working normally(starts up and you can login), try to save as much of your school work as possible first. Then try to save other important media(photos/bookmarks etc)
- Shutdown the device
- If your device was purchased less than three years ago, through the college, fill out both of the attached documents.
- If your device is greater than 3 years, or purchased privately, then fill out the General Service Form only
Bring the device and completed paperwork to the ILT Center, where we will assess the device. In all cases the device will be sent to our Apple Agent "Serviceplus" for a repair inspection. We will be able to give you a loaner while your laptop is repaired.
