A single YouTube playlist can be embedded to a Textbox Component in myCollege. This may be a preferable to embedding multiple and separate YouTube video.
On a users screen, a playlist contains an additional menu of options to allow for quick browsing and switching to other YouTube video.
Manage your contents of your Playlist in YouTube (see links below)
YouTube
Login to YouTube:
- Select the YouTube Playlist, click EDIT
- Click Share
- Click EMBED
- Click SHOW MORE
- Ensure Enable privacy-enhanced mode is checked
- Copy the Iframe code
myCollege
Login to myCollege and navigate to your homepage
- Click Add Components (+ icon), add a Text Box component to your page
- Click Add text and multimedia, or embed content
- Click Source
- Paste the Iframe code, click Save Content
Switch-to a YouTube Video within a Playlist
Students can switch quickly to another YouTube video in the Playlist:
- Click the Hamburger menu icon
- Select another YouTube video
Quick-tip: click the Close button to removed the Hamburger menu options
